Yes it is one of the side effects. Do you take them every day? Research shows the same results when you take them twice a week. Maybe that will maken it easier to keep using iron?

I use the Iron Complex by Royal Green. My levels have already doubled.

I am taking it twice a week but the result is the same. I get anxious the day before I am supposed to take it.
I’ve had the same symptoms and my levels did not increase. I started to take Nano Ijzer and this really helped me, without any bad symptoms!

I also use the B12 and D3 from the same brand. After I finished my bottles, my levels had actually doubled. You can also check with a retailer or specialist whether you can temporarily take more than one pill per day — that’s what I did with the Iron Complex.

Yes, unfortunately it does sound familiar. The midwife recommended “ijzerbisglycinaat”, it is availible in a lot of different brands. My iron levels don’t rise that fast, but they are rising. Maybe you already know: vitamin C helps your body absorb the iron. Calcium and magnesium can prevent your body from absorbing iron, so it’s best to not use it simultaniously. The same goes for coffee and tea.

I take my iron tablets with a small vitamin C tablet, and that helps with the nausea.
