The womb protects your baby against the fall. It鈥檚 like a balloon filled with water. Your body was designed for this pregnancy, including small accidents!
You already contacted your verloskundige, and she will tell you more about the symptoms that could signal the off chance that something did go wrong. It鈥檚 not impossible that something did go wrong, but it is very unlikely. I hope your midwife can confirm what I鈥檓 telling you on here, and that you experience no other concerning symptoms.
You did the right thing! These things can happen, it鈥檚 not your fault.

Last week I fell from the stairs on my back. But I knew the baby was still fine, because i felt her kicking! But if you're worrying and don't trust it, tell your verloskundige that you want her to see you!

The only thing you can do is contact your midwife and you already did that, so in my opinion you already did everything that you can do in a situation like this. Like Fruity Lily said, your body was designed to even handle small accidents. You must feel stressed and scared and that's totally understandable, but you did good and these things do happen. It's not your fault!

I thought will just update everyone- apparently in NL if you fall on your belly or on the side of the belly after 27 weeks, the midwife checks the heartbeat and then sends you to the hospital for a CGT. For us the CGT was 6 hours long from the time of falling. They monitored the heart rate, any contractions, did an ultrasound, checked blood pressure and took blood to see if the baby-mamma blood has mixed. So far everything has been fine :) blood results will take some time to come. But they have told to be aware of any pain in the stomach or any bleeding.
